Terms:
Net 30 days on approved open account. D&B credit check, credit references and banking information required to establish open account. Please contact your sales representative or our Credit Manager.
Payment with credit cards such as: VISA, American Express, Master Charge, Corporate and Government Purchasing cards are also accepted.

Returned Checks:
There is a $25.00 service charge for each check returned for any reason.

International Orders :
International Orders - Terms are payment in advance in U.S. dollars. Company will only accept checks drawn on U.S. banks, credit cards or wire transfers. All charges associated with freight, export handling, and documentation will be charged to the customer unless prior arrangements have been made. If a specific broker/forwarder is not requested, the Company will select one.

Freight Damages/Claims:
J. O'Brien Company must be notified within 5 days of any shipment received that has been damaged. Credit will not be given without proof of claim.


Returns:
Unused non-custom items can be returned within 30 days of invoice date. For returns due to customer error, a 20% restocking fee will apply. Please contact Customer Service for assistance and a return authorization number.

Custom Items, Low Volume:
J. O'Brien reserves the right to ship/invoice +/- 10% of the quantity ordered. Cancellation fee will apply if order is cancelled when already in production.

Custom Items, High Volume (Blanket/Standing Orders):
Customer's purchase order is not subject to cancellation, change, reduction in amount, suspension or deferment of deliveries except with Seller's written consent and under terms that indemnify Seller against loss.
Customer is responsible for the total amount of items reserved, and placed in stock, to be available to fill orders for a predetermined period.
Prices quoted on such orders, based on yearly volume, will be honored by J. O'Brien Co., Inc. for the period quoted.

Shipping Methods:
Normal Shipments:
By UPS Ground Service unless otherwise requested. UPS air shipments, Federal Express, DHL, Airborne or common carrier available upon request.

Emergency Shipments:
At customer's request, J. O'Brien Company will arrange for their order to be shipped Next Business Day, 2nd Business Day, or for Saturday Delivery.

Partial Shipments:
Unless otherwise specified by the customer, J. O'Brien Company, Inc. may ship and invoice partial shipments.

Sales Tax Exemption:
If customer is Tax Exempt, a completed New Jersey or New York Tax Exempt Certificate must be received or on file prior to shipment.
