The Fargo 82711 PolyGuard LMX, clear overlaminate 1000 images per roll, adds protection to a PVC/composite card in the form of a 1.0 mil thick patch material. PolyGuard LMX overlaminates used in conjunction with Fargo ID card laminating printers, severely increases the durability and longevity of a printed card by adding a layer of protection against everyday wear and tear.

Half Patch Overlaminate
Half-Patch overlaminates are designed to be used on PVC/Composite ID cards that feature a magnetic stripe, they are designed to apply laminate material only to the printable section of the card, leaving the magnetic stripe uncovered to ensure proper operation within your chosen application.
Wasteless Laminate Material
Wasteless lamination technologies aim to reduce needless waste by eliminating the traditional need for carrier film and the carrier film’s subsequent take-up core. With wasteless lamination, overlaminate patches are attached to one another in a continuous stream of material on a single roll and without an underlying carrier. As each patch is detached from its supply roll and adhered to a card, the lamination cycle is complete. Once the supply roll has been depleted, the only thing left is the single empty core that once contained the overlaminate material. Because there is no carrier film, there is no used carrier film waste.
Enhanced UV Protection
The Fargo 82711 PolyGuard LMX UV resistant overlaminate is designed to better protect against print fading specifically caused by exposure to sunlight.
