TAA-compliant for government purchasing
The Thales Gemalto MRZ and MSR Swipe Reader CR100M is TAA-compliant, making it suitable for many federal, government, and contract purchasing requirements where Trade Agreements Act compliance is required.
In practical terms, TAA compliance means a product is manufactured or substantially transformed in the United States or in a TAA-designated country. For buyers working through GSA Schedule contracts or other covered government procurement channels, this helps confirm that the product meets applicable country-of-origin requirements.
For government buyers, TAA compliance helps simplify procurement and reduce sourcing concerns.
Why TAA compliance matters
Many public-sector purchasing teams need equipment that aligns with federal acquisition rules. TAA-compliant products help agencies, contractors, schools, transportation authorities, and other regulated organizations buy with greater confidence.
- Supports federal and government procurement requirements
- Helps meet Trade Agreements Act sourcing standards
- Useful for GSA Schedule and contract-based purchasing
- Provides added confidence for regulated identity verification projects
Compact document reading, made practical
The Thales Gemalto MRZ and MSR Swipe Reader CR100M combines MRZ reading, magnetic stripe capture, flexible mounting, and USB-powered simplicity in one small, dependable device designed for everyday identity and document verification workflows.
