FCMYP-KP
The Datacard 513382-207 Color Ribbon 750 images per roll, (FCMYKP-KP) consists of a (F) fluorescent UV (The fluorescent UV panel is utilized to print fields that are only visible under ultra violet light.), cyan (C), magenta (M) and yellow (Y) panels for printing a full spectrum of colors on to PVC/Composite ID card stock. The (P) panel or primer panel is necessary to ensure maximum image adherence when using a Datacard ID card printer that uses pigment ink. In a Datacard FCMYP-KP style ribbon, following the first primer panel there is a (K) panel or black resin panel, typically used for printing in monochrome (barcodes, text, serial numbers, bold black graphics, etc.) followed by a second (P) primer panel which allows for dual sided printing (Full color front/monochrome black back).
Enhanced Visual Security
The Datacard 513382-207 color ribbon (contains a Fluorescent (F) also known as an Ultra Violet (UV) Panel. Adding a F/UV panel to a printed ID card increases the visual security of your card by printing covert fields (text, images, etc.) that are only visible under ultra violet light. Datacard F/UV ribbons produce ID cards that are difficult to forge, yet easy to verify.
